Speaking At The Wake
Some form of wake follows most funerals - it may be cups of tea and biscuits, it may be a boozy affair - but the wake is always where fond reminiscences are made, stories told that might not have been appropriate during the service and where emotions are allowed to flow.
Many wakes don't have speeches as such but some do, and if you would like assistance with putting together a structured, moving, and maybe funny speech to celebrate a life, I'm happy to help.
I can't give any examples of a 'Wake Speech' because they are so personal. In many ways this speech is similar to the Best Man speech at a wedding - it can be a bit irreverent but still has to be affectionate and relevant to the audience.
